It’s getting to be that time of year when many people are looking at holiday suggestions for their family members. Make a Christmas wish list for Grandma, and begin to build a family library for your children.
Most grandparents would LOVE to know what your children need (or want) and if you can provide suggestions for them, so much the better.
One of the easiest ways to be prepared for the question, “Honey, what do the kids want for Christmas this year?” is to do a little homework right now.
Get that list created, and simply add to it over the upcoming weeks. Be intentional about the titles you place on the list, and you can all be blessed with the growing library in your own home.
Even if the children’s grandparents aren’t super tech savvy and do not have an account with Amazon, at least it will be practical for you to have those book ideas on the tip of your tongue. And you never know! Maybe you will have an opportunity to show them how the website works!!
There have been times in our family, where one of the grandmas chose to give me her credit card and had me do the actual purchasing for her.
I would talk through the options, and she would make the decision about what to purchase or at least what dollar amount she was planning to spend. Then I would place the order but ship the books to her address.
The books would arrive at her home in a couple of days (thanks to Prime), she would wrap them herself and present them to the kids! Gifts from Nana!
