A long time ago, in a land far away, I was a stay-at-home-mom. A very, very long time ago! But as days passed, I realized I wanted to do more with my life. Have a broader reach so to speak.
So, by God’s grace, I became a stay-at-home-Nana!! 🙂
Perhaps a better designation would be a-stay-at-home-sometimes-Nana!
There is so much to see and do in God’s wide world! I am very thankful for all the adventures, both large and small, in which He has allowed me to get involved.
Now, being Nana is a strenuous calling!! In spite of being a mama for a long, long time, being a nana is a whole new line of work. First of all, you have to be A LOT older!! Plus, you are still trying to be Mama (or Mom!) to a whole bunch of those other guys! (Can you tell I like explanation points!!! 🙂 )
This blog journal is an attempt to keep my head in the game. Also, we have been blessed with fourteen grandchildren. Amazing! These people are the most significant reason I want to keep my head in the game. 🙂
Marcus and I have been married almost 38 years. We have nine children as an evidence of God’s goodness and our need for much sanctification!
